4. Consult
Even if you think you have it all under control, ask her for a little help sometimes. If you’re serving a meal and she offers to help in the kitchen, accept graciously. Or if she is great with flowers, ask her to help you arrange yours. Everyone likes to feel needed and appreciated for their talents.
