1. Florence Johnston (played by Marla Gibbs) from The Jeffersons. The character of Florence was known more for her wise-cracking with her boss, George Jefferson (played by the late, great Sherman Hemsley), than she was for her housekeeping skills. Together, the two of them struck comedic gold in this stereotype-shattering series.
2. Rosario Salazar (played by Shelley Morrison) from Will & Grace. Rosario played the long-suffering maid, and sometime co-conspirator of Grace’s wealthy, and usually drunk secretary, Karen (brilliantly played by Megan Mullally). Rosario had to put up with Karen’s selfish indifference to the needs and desires of others, and did so with an understated comedic brilliance. She got some of the best one-liners of the series.
