Tray Chaney is an American actor who was born and raised in Forestville, Maryland, United States. Currently, he is known for appearing on an HBO program called The Wire. In the program, Tray mainly portrays the role of Poot Carr. His role on The Wire earned him popularity in the entertainment industry. Hence he was able to appear in the Saints and Sinners series.

Chaney began his entertainment career at the age of four as a dancer and he won the competitions at the Apollo Theater. From there he was featured in a Bow Wow music video called My Baby. Tray has also appeared on America’s Most Wanted where he played the role of a fugitive named Jerry Robinson. Aside from acting, Tray authored and released his self-published book titled The Truth You Can’t beTray.
