You can walk into the city centre in about 20 minutes—perfect for burning off the breakfast you’ll inevitably overeat. The River Severn is right there, with its swans, boats, and that one confusing roundabout that everyone tries to avoid.

Worcester itself is a treasure. You’ve got the magnificent cathedral, shops, and a cider festival that will test your liver’s loyalty. Don’t miss the local delis; you can pick up a pork pie that’s basically a work of art. You’ll thank me later.
Walks and Wobbly Legs
Fancy a walk? The Malvern Hills are a short drive away, and they’re famous for their spring water and killer views. You can hike to the top of Worcestershire Beacon, wave at the cows, and pretend you’re in a Jane Austen novel (minus the corset and plus a fleece).
There’s also a direct footpath from the campsite to the River Severn path. It’s flat, easy, and dotted with benches where you can sit and contemplate why you didn’t bring more biscuits. Trust me, you’ll need them.
