7. When in Doubt, Keep it Short, Sweet and Simple
It can be nice to add a few details about your family at the time your card goes out (for example, your kids’ ages, favorite things, hobbies, etc.) But keep it short and simple so that you don’t share something you might regret later in life. You don’t need to send out a novel, just a quick update on your life and a sweet message of well wishes for the year to come. Let your smiles do the talking, and use your holiday card as a chance to set the tone for a wonderful holiday season and New Year.
