Is your calendar filled with endless deadlines and commitments? If you’re like most of us, you’re finding that you have less time to do the things you really want to do. In his book, Overcoming Time Poverty: How to Achieve More by Working Less, Bill Quain Ph.D describes what most of us are experiencing as time poverty. He says about many people, “They trade their time for dollars on a job. They need money, so they “sell” their time.” His suggestion? “Trade your time for EQUITY, then let the equity work to create all the income you need to achieve your dreams.”

We found the whole idea of working less and achieving more quite enticing, so we did a little research of our own. These 15 time management strategies are from Dr. Quain as well as our own inter-office poll and Internet scouring. After reading these essential tips for time management, please share your own tips to overcoming an over-scheduled life in the comments. We’d love to hear how you do it!
