  • Use zip bags. Perhaps the cleanest and quickest way is to use the zip bag and tong method. Place your flour in one zip bag, the egg in a shallow bowl and the crumbs in another zip bag. Start by dumping a few chicken pieces in the flour bag and swish around until they are all evenly coated with flour. Using your tongs, transfer the chicken out of the bag into the egg dish. Coat it with egg all the way around and transfer into the crumb bag. Once again, swish chicken around to coat evenly with crumb mixture.
