It’s been 16 years, two kids and one divorce since I became a love immigrant. I don’t regret my decision, although it uprooted me. I don’t belong to Argentina but I am also not fully a Spaniard anymore. My own children have a different nationality from mine. So, maybe, the romantic view of all this is that we immigrants are the true citizens of the world—we can adapt to anything, anywhere.
