4. Older Kids Need a Discussion
Remember to tailor your explanation to the child’s age. Sometimes all you can say something as simple as “That’s a special hug Mommies and Daddies give to each other.” Just make sure your kids understand nothing scary or violent was going on and don’t make too big a deal of it.
