Since 2006, Pantene has donated more than 28,000 real-hair wigs to American Cancer Society wig banks, which distribute free, real-hair wigs to cancer patients across the country. Women and men of all ages have donated their hair over the years, and their stories are as different as their hair colors and styles. Brittany, an ovarian cancer survivor who lost her own hair during chemotherapy, chose to donate her regrown locks when she reached a terrific milestone—five years of being cancer-free.  A shy young woman, Tamara was used to hiding behind her long hair until she donated her ponytail and got a haircut that let her natural beauty shine through.
