If you’re a mom on the go, you may want to consider getting a tablet or some newer variant. These lightweight, handy devices can help you stay organized with the touch of a finger. Besides being fun to use, there are a number of ways a tablet can make your life a little easier.

EASY ACCESS
Whether you’re a work-at-home mom, a corporate titan, or CEO of the house, you have a lot to juggle. A tablet can help you get the information you need quickly and hassle-free. If you need a quick recipe or coupon when shopping for groceries, or an idea for your next presentation, you can use a tablet to pull up whatever you need by scanning a QR code for coupons or just about anything else, all while on the move. Instead of being tied to an internet connection at home or at the office, you can find whatever you need wherever you are.

And if you didn’t need more reason to go mobile, research has shown that the ability to pay bills online makes people happier. Well, it’s not the actual paying of the bills that makes one happier, but rather the stress relief by being able to do it with the push of a button and voila!—you’re done for the month.

STAY ORGANIZED
Moms are responsible for most, if not all of the organizational needs of the family, from keeping the kids’ schedules to keeping a budget. If that sounds like you, a tablet can be a great companion to keep you organized. With a tablet, you can pay bills from anywhere, keep track of upcoming birthdays, and check off your grocery list, all with one device.

Meal planning can also be a snap with a tablet. Menus and recipes for everything from classic meals to Paleo, low fat, vegetarian or gluten free, etc. can be found online. And with a tablet, you can do your meal planning while you’re waiting in the school pick-up line, at the dentist’s office, or riding home on the subway.

CAPTURE THE MOMENTS
Tablets are a simple, portable way to take quick pictures and video. They’re also a great for storing digital media, and with the camera built right in, there’s no need to have multiple devices. A co-worker of mine has a hilarious little girl and thanks to his wife’s quick thinking and having a tablet nearby, she was able to send us a video that I am sure could win America’s Funniest Home Videos.  Here is a great video of a 2 year old little girl singing Adele; it’s moments like these you don’t want to miss!

ENTERTAINING THE KIDS
It is no secret that a tablet can be a life saver for long car rides or rainy days stuck inside. Tablets have so many apps that can entertain kids. Plus a tablet can serve as a movie player, a gaming device, and an e-reader. Of course, you’ll want to limit your kids’ screen time, but if used carefully, tablets can be fun and educational for them while giving you a moment to breathe.
