People en Espanol

I am thrilled to announce that Mamiverse will be at People En Español Festival  presented by Target. This is an event celebrating Hispanic entertainment, culture and community in San Antonio, Texas, on September 1-2. I am honored and excited to attend the first of such events, that celebrates Latino contribution to art, lifestyle and culture. As a Latina mom, I recognize the importance of supporting ventures that bring us together while putting Latino talent in the spotlight.

The Festival will include music performances by the biggest names in Latino music: Daddy Yankee, Luis Miguel, Prince Royce, Tito “El Bambino,” Larry Hernandez, 3BallMTY, and Banda Los Recoditos. To celebrate the pride and passion of the Hispanic community, our editorial team at Mamiverse has developed a series of articles and Twitter parties devoted to beauty & style, music and culture that we hope will inform, inspire and engage our readers and Festival attendees.

I will not only be soaking up the Latino culture in San Antonio along with other members of our Mamiverse team, but will be Tweeting live from Festival People en Español, and also reporting live via Instagram (@Mamiverse) and Facebook. Be sure to follow us on Twitter: @mamiverse, @ReneAlegriaNYC (René Alegría, CEO), @lorrainecladish (Lorraine C. Ladish, Editor-in-Chief), @LBConnect (Latina Bloggers Connect, Cohosts), @craftychica (Kathy Cano-Murillo, Spokesperson) and @BlogsbyLatinas (Monique Frausto, Spokesperson) as we update you with pictures, fun facts and Q&As.

Festival People En Español will offer visitors two days of open to the public events including the opportunity to catch exclusive Q&A sessions with celebrities and telenovela stars, hear tips from leading industry experts on topics ranging from fashion to wellness, and interact with favorite brands. But we don’t just want to tell you what’s happening, we want you to have the chance to see it for yourself! So that’s why today we’re kicking off an exciting, weekend-long Twitter Extravaganza for a chance to win fabulous prizes including 16 concert tickets to see Daddy Yankee, Luis Miguel, Olga Tañon and others and $900 in Target gift cards.
