3. Eat out at a new restaurant every week.
There’s no better way to learn to love where you live than finding great food and there are probably tons of restaurants in your home city that you’ve never tried. Make a commitment to try a new restaurant every week. Or if look for specials at your regular haunts, like the chef’s table or a tasting menu. This will force you to try new dishes and open your eyes to a new dining experience.

4. Go to an area of the city you know nothing about. 
Have you ever though: I’ve lived in this city my entire life, how have I never been down this street before? It’s time to explore new neighborhoods and new areas of your home city. You can start by asking friends for their favorite hidden spots or check out travel blogs to learn about fun up-and-coming neighborhoods. And do not be afraid to visit the neighborhoods typically considered tourist traps.
