3. Play Nice
Like yelling, name calling is not going to help you win the argument. Anger makes us say things we later regret and attacking the individual across from you is only going to make for harsher feelings down the line.

4. Step Away
If you find yourself losing your temper, step away. If you think you’ll say something you don’t mean, tell your partner you’re taking a short time out. Chances are they can use a break, too.
