Don’t Hide From Your Disagreements
Sometimes you don’t feel like having an argument; perhaps it’s been a long day or you’re just too tired to really have at it. That’s OK, and ideally you want to argue when you have energy to really focus on it, but if you continuously run from your arguments and just sweep those feelings under the rug, eventually they’ll catch up to you and do far more damage than if you had just promptly addressed your issues. Don’t hide from disagreements; instead, approach your partner or friend as soon as the problem arises and offer a peaceful and calm “I’d lie to talk to you about something. Is now a good time?” to get the conversation started.
