17. Look at Your Plate
Healthy diets lead to healthy curls. Eat foods like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low-fat dairy foods and lean proteins, which will all help keep your hair healthy.

18. Get a Trim
Split ends cause curls to go completely out of control. When you have curly hair, it’s tempting to only have it cut once a year—and you can probably get away with it too. But getting a tiny trim once a quarter or so keeps the ends neat and curls in shape.

19. Get a Better Pillowcase
What you are sleeping on could be causing your curls to look crazy in the morning. Satin pillowcases cause less frizz, and who needs an excuse to buy satin sheets?
