When it comes to your makeup, blush color can be a real lifesaver, especially during winter months when you don’t have the natural glow from the sun that you get to flaunt all summer. Adding a natural rosiness to your cheeks can make you look awake, healthy, flirty and naturally gorgeous.
But it can also be a little tricky to properly apply blush; you need to find the right shade to match your complexion and you need to know how to wear it. After all, if you put on too much or the color is too pink, too dark or too orange it could make you look more like a clown and less like the gorgeous goddess you really are.
So how do you choose the best blush shade for you? As per Harper’s Bazaar, makeup artist Liliana Volz, the director of education for Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics, suggests that when you are testing to blush you “put the blush in the palm of your hand and match it to the color of your fingertips.
