Because stuff happens. You’ll have a medical emergency or death in the family that will drain your bank accounts or one of your children may get a full ride scholarship to study overseas, ruining your dream of weekly breakfast gatherings through college. Recognize you’ll need to stay a bit flexible but have a plan in place to handle challenges along the way.
