At the heart of Taboo is James Delaney, a man with a dark past and a penchant for getting out of tight spots. He's like that one friend who always seems to land on their feet, but with a lot more swagger and a few more scars. And then there's Lorna Bow, the feisty and independent woman who's not afraid to speak her mind.
These characters are multidimensional and relatable, with motivations that are both understandable and flawed. They're like the people you meet in your everyday life, but with a lot more drama and intrigue. And just like how you can't help but root for the underdog, you'll find yourself cheering on these characters as they navigate the treacherous waters of Georgian London.
