9. Have your kids pick out books about your trip.
We all do research before we pack our bags, right? Well let your kids help out. Go to a bookstore and find books about the place you plan to visit. Maybe you’ll even find some fictional (or non-fictional) stories that take place in that city. Or you can browse the Internet together to learn about your destination. When you finally do take your trip it will be like all the books you read are coming to life before your eyes.
