6. Take a road trip.
When it comes to educational trips, you can learn a lot from the backseat of a car if you take the time to look. Have your kids follow along a map to see where you are driving and observe the signs, sites and even license plates around you. Kids will learn a lot about geography if they are actually driving the course, rather than just reading about it in a textbook.
