WHAT TO PACK
Comfy clothes of course and a swimsuit or two are a must for this tropical island, along with a summer hat and sunscreen. Keep in mind that even if you are going to a beach resort, Dominicans are very fashion-conscious and protocol-minded. So tell your spouse to pack some long pants for dinner-time, and make sure you take a little black dress and heels too. The kids will be fine no matter what they wear, but it’s never too early to teach them manners and that sometimes one needs to dress up for dinner.
