Eastern Salt Marsh Mosquito (Aedes Sollicitans)
Native to the eastern seaboard of the United States, this mosquito is a vector for diseases such as Eastern Equine Encephalitis. The females of this species are highly aggressive biters, taking blood-meals from all kinds of animals (birds, reptiles, and mammals), but especially humans.

Anopheles Quadrimaculatus
These buggers are known for spreading Encephalitis and Malaria and are native to eastern North America. Active in the summer months, their preferred hosts are humans and other large mammals and they like getting comfy in houses and other man-made shelters.
