2. Find the Right Therapist
You wouldn’t hire an OB/GYN or an interior designer without doing a little shopping around, would you? The same rule applies to your therapist. You should interview three or four therapists before committing to someone, and make sure the counselor you choose is the best fit for both of you based on your relationship issues. Remember that you both need to feel truly comfortable around your therapist since you’ll be unloading some serious baggage in their presence.
