1. Improves Math Skills
    Truth be told, you’ve forgotten most of the math skills you learned in school. Algebra? Calculus? What are those? But the basic math skills you use every day are the ones you use in the kitchen (and figuring out how much to tip, that comes in handy a LOT). Teach your kids simple addition, subtraction, measuring and counting as you cook together. And don’t just rely on the instructions; ask questions as you go. If we need three eggs and we already added one, how many more do we need?
