Latin TV Trivia: Ralphie was originally upstaged by Tony Montana. A Christmas Story and Scarface were both released in theaters in December 1983. Because Scarface was a big studio movie with big-name actors, it pushed the fledgling A Christmas Story into the theatrical void.
