7. Side-Kick Plié
Spread your legs wide with toes turned out and bend your knees keeping them in line with your feet. You can old your hands on your hips or close to your body—whichever is more comfortable. Shift your weight to one leg while lifting your other leg to kick it high to the side. Return to your starting, bent-leg position and repeat for ten reps on each side.

8. Fire Hydrant
Back on all fours, lift one leg out to the side, keeping it bent at ninety degrees so that you look like you’re a dog peeing on a fire hydrant. Sorry for the visual, just go with it, it’s effective.
