11. Skipping the Floss
If you’re good about brushing you can skip the floss, right? Not really. Floss is the only thing that can get in between teeth and beneath the gum line. Without a couple of minutes daily with floss and just a little technique, your mouth will still be full of film and food particles, no matter how much you brush.

12. Eating Starchy Foods
Carbo-loading before the big game is great if you remember to clean your mouth later. Foods high in complex carbohydrates break down into sugars and make the mouth more acidic, therefore more prone to problems.
