The only downside to these carrots vs. regular carrots is that they have slightly fewer nutrients (because you’re not getting the entire vegetable) and that some growers are breeding varieties with a slightly higher sugar content. The bottom line is that they are still vegetables so they’re always much healthier than fatty, sugary processed snacks.
