I know, I know—you could just Google it. But that’s too clinical. You want the human touch. You want someone to say, “Yeah, buddy, the Lions are on at 1:00, but don’t forget to set your DVR because the pregame show will make you cry laughing.” And honestly, I’m here for that.
Is your team playing at Ford Field? If so, expect a roar from the crowd. If they’re on the road, brace yourself for a hostile crowd and a quarterback who might throw a pick at the worst possible moment. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Let’s talk about the time zones, because math is hard
You live in Michigan? Great, you’re on Eastern Time. No calculations needed. But if you’re my friend in San Francisco, you’re looking at a 10:00 AM start. That’s brunch football. You’ll be sipping mimosas while the Lions are already down by two touchdowns. Risky business.
For my European Lions fans (yes, you exist, and I admire your dedication), a 1:00 PM game turns into a 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM kickoff. That’s prime-time pizza and screaming into your phone. Just don’t wake the neighbors when Hutchinson gets a sack.
