1. Vanilla Fig Scones
Figs aren’t just for lunch and dinner; with these scones you can enjoy a fig-tastic treat at breakfast too. Figs add sweetness and texture to these breakfast pastries, and they are an interesting departure from basic blueberry or cranberry (yummy, but boring!) We love this scone recipe because it isn’t overly sweet or too dry. You might not make these every day since they do require a decent amount of prep to bake properly, but they are worth it. And the best part is you can freeze what you don’t eat and serve at a later date. Ok, eating them is the best part, but we do love a good freezer-friendly recipe.
