Let’s cut to the chase, because I know you’re impatient (and honestly, so am I). Nick Berry was born on April 16, 1963. That makes him exactly 61 years old as of 2026.
Yes, sixty-one. I know—it feels like he should be stuck in a time warp, forever 25 and solving village mysteries in a police car. But the math doesn’t lie. (Math: always ruining our nostalgic fantasies.)
So, if you’re doing the mental gymnastics right now, that means he was a spring chicken of 23 when he started playing Simon Wicks on EastEnders in 1985. And just 28 when he took on the iconic role of PC Nick Rowan in Heartbeat in 1992. Twenty-eight! I was probably still eating cereal out of the box at that age.
Wait, Has He Aged or What?
Here’s the thing about Nick Berry: he has barely aged a day. Seriously, if you Google a recent photo of him (maybe from 2026 or 2026), you’ll see a man who looks like he’s been sipping from the fountain of youth instead of a cuppa.
It’s almost unfair. There’s no grey hair conspiracy, no plastic surgery scandal—just good genes and a very relaxed life away from the spotlight. He’s basically the Dorian Gray of British soap stars. (But without the creepy painting in the attic, I promise.)
People ask, “Is he still alive?” And the answer is a resounding yes. Alive, kicking, and probably laughing at how we’re all obsessing over his age like it’s a national secret.
