Tyler, The Creator started making music at a pretty young age, and his early work was heavily influenced by Skate culture and Odd Future, a collective he co-founded. The album Bastard was initially released for free on Tyler's website, and it quickly gained traction online. It's amazing to think about how far he's come since then!
One of the most interesting things about Bastard is its controversial content, which sparked a lot of debate back in the day. Some critics accused Tyler of being homophobic and misogynistic, but he's since clarified that his lyrics were meant to be satirical and thought-provoking. Either way, it's undeniable that Bastard is a raw and unapologetic album.
