Let’s zoom out for a second. You’re not just asking for a time. You’re asking for a chance to pause the chaos of your week. You’re carving out a pocket of pure, unadulterated fun. That’s not silly—that’s smart self-care.
Life is full of deadlines, but a hockey game is a deadline you actually want to meet. It’s a 60-minute promise of suspense, athleticism, and the occasional fight (which is basically a chaotic ballet, right?). It’s a guaranteed dose of adrenaline without any real risk.

Make It a Ritual, Not a Routine
So, you checked the time. Now what? Make it an event. Light a candle. Wear your lucky jersey. Do a little dance before the anthem. Celebrate the fact that you have something to look forward to.
And if the Wings lose? So what. You still got to escape for two and a half hours. You still got to yell, cheer, and bond over a shared experience. That’s a win in my book. Especially if you had good snacks.
