This is where you play the geography card. It’s summer down there. Summer. In January. Mind-blowing, right?
Go to Rio de Janeiro during Carnival (usually Feb/March). The vibes are electric. The heat is heavy (90°F/32°C). And the people? They’re wearing next to nothing. It’s a cultural experience that doubles as a free sauna.
Don't want crowds? Try Buenos Aires, Argentina. It gets hot, but it’s more of a dry, elegant heat. You can eat steak at midnight and still feel a breeze. Plus, the steak. I said steak twice because it matters.
Asia: Where "Hot" Gets Serious
If you really want to melt, Asia is your answer. I’m talking about Southeast Asia.

Thailand in January is peak season for a reason. Bangkok will hit 95°F (35°C) with 100% humidity. Your shirt will stick to you immediately. Some people hate that. I call it a "warm hug from a sweaty stranger." You get used to it.
Or go to Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City is a steam bath. But the energy is unmatched. Eat pho, drink iced coffee, and let the heat wash over you. It’s therapeutic.
I’d skip Northern India (like Delhi) in January. It can actually be chilly at night. For heat, you want the south: Kerala or Goa. Coconut water and backwaters. You’ll never check a weather app again.
