Let's get down to business: the bag policy is in place to ensure everyone's safety, and it's not as draconian as it sounds. However, it's essential to understand what you can and cannot bring into the convention center, lest you want to incur the wrath of the bag-checking gods.
The policy states that only clear bags with a maximum size of 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed, which is roughly the size of a smallish lunchbox. Yes, you read that right – clear bags only, folks! So, if you're planning to bring your trusty old-school backpack, you might want to rethink that plan.
But wait, there's more! Exceptions do apply, and if you have a medical necessity or a child-care item, you might be able to sneak in a non-clear bag. Just don't try to sneak in a full-sized Dalek, or you'll be exterminated from the premises.
