Yes, it sounds medieval. But glue traps are brutally effective. Put them behind furniture, under the fridge, or near doors. Spiders wander into them and stick.
Check the traps weekly. If you find a spider, release it outside—if you can stomach it. Otherwise, toss the whole trap. It’s the Circle of Life, but with a lot more adhesive. Just keep them away from kids and pets.
