Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Or rather, the bald, grunting elephant. Phil Mitchell. Their relationship is the toxic, chaotic, yet somehow romantic spine of the show. You can’t have one without the other lurking in the shadows.
EastEnders – Where is Sharon Watts and will she be back?
Right now, Phil is in a bit of a state, isn’t he? If Sharon rocks up on his doorstep, we all know it’s going to end in tears, screaming matches, and possibly a car being driven into the canal. Sigh. Pass the popcorn.
Some fans are saying she needs to return for a fresh start, a new romance. Others are screaming for a proper showdown with Kat. (Can you imagine those two feuding over Phil? The hair extensions alone would cost a fortune.)
The "New" Sharon
There is always the worry, isn’t there? That the character comes back as a completely different person. Maybe she’s found inner peace. Maybe she’s become a wellness guru who only drinks kale juice. No thank you. Give me the Sharon who throws a glass of champagne in your face and then asks for a refill.
What I really want to know is: will she have a new secret? A long-lost twin? A secret basement in the Albert? Right now, the BBC is staying tight-lipped, which only makes the speculation worse. (And yes, my pasta sauce burned while I was writing this. Thanks, Sharon.)
