Every celebrity who steps onto the famous Strictly Come Dancing floor receives a participation fee. This is their baseline, the guaranteed sum just for signing the contract and committing to weeks of relentless training. Prices here typically start around £25,000 to £50,000, with the exact amount negotiated based on the star’s existing profile.
Think of it as a booking fee for their fame, not their dance ability. This fee is paid regardless of whether they are voted out in week one or hoist the glitterball trophy in the final. It’s a lovely safety net, but the real money—and the real incentive—kicks in later.
