Maybe you’re rewatching the movies and you see Bill for the first time. Or maybe you’re a hardcore fan who’s always wondered, “Who is that guy with the rad scars?” Either way, now you know: it’s Domhnall Gleeson, the Irish actor who moonlights as a space nazi, a time-traveling romantic, and a dragon expert. Pretty decent résumé, huh?
Next time you watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and see Bill welcome Harry to the Burrow, give a little nod to Domhnall. He’s the reason that character feels like a cool older brother you wish you had. And if you squint, you might just see a little Mad-Eye Moody in his smile—thanks to his dad.
So, who plays Bill Weasley? A seriously talented dude who proves that even side characters can have star power. And honestly? That’s the magic of the Potterverse.
