For a standard arena or stadium show, expect the band to start between 10:00 PM and 10:45 PM. I know, I know. That sounds late. You might have work in the morning.
But you’re not going to a board meeting. You’re going to see “Welcome to the Jungle” with a guy who swings from a microphone like a jungle gym. Sacrifices must be made.
The Golden Rule: Check Your Local Time
Here’s the trick that saves your sanity. Look at the venue’s official website or social media. They post a “show time” and a “curfew.” The show time is when the support act starts. The curfew is the strict time the show must end.
Then, do the math. If curfew is 11:30 PM, and there’s one opener, GNR will probably hit the stage around 9:15 to 9:30 PM. If there are two openers? Push that start time closer to 10:00 PM. It’s like solving a rock and roll puzzle.
