Now, the fun part: the hidden costs. You’ll likely have to pay an initiation fee of around £150 to £250. That’s like a cover charge for a club that never closes.
Membership - Third Space
Some memberships require a minimum term—usually 12 months. So if you decide you hate exercise after a month, you’re still paying. It’s like a marriage to a treadmill, without the divorce option.
Quirky fact: Some branches have a no-show fee for booked classes. If you don’t cancel within 2 hours, you get charged £10. That’s more expensive than your Uber ride to the gym. Suddenly, skipping leg day has a price tag.
The "Worth It" Factor (Because This is Fun to Debate)
Is it worth it? That depends on how you value pure, unadulterated luxury. If you’re the type who gets a dopamine hit from a clean, marble floor and a very expensive water bottle, then yes.
But here’s the hilarious paradox: the cheapest way to use Third Space is to get a corporate discount through your employer. Some big companies get memberships for £150 per month. That’s like finding a golden ticket in your paycheck.
And yet, the real kicker? Most members never use the gym. They pay the fee, show up once, take a selfie in front of the cold plunge, and then forget their membership exists. It’s the world’s most expensive Instagram backdrop.
