I’ve heard whispers. Is a location coming to Leicester Square? To Shoreditch? To a converted phone booth in King’s Cross? Probably not. But a chicken lover can dream, right?
In 2026, Cane’s opened its first UK location in… wait for it… Reading. Yes, Reading, of all places. About an hour from London by train. I almost bought a ticket. I really did.
But a trip to Reading for chicken feels like a cry for help. “I’m not okay, and I need Texas toast.” No judgment, just an observation.
Will we ever get a proper Raising Cane’s in London?
Probably. Eventually. The food scene here is hungry for American chains. We have Five Guys everywhere. Shake Shack is on every corner. In-N-Out has a pop-up now and then.
So, why not Cane’s? The demand is real. The thirst is real. The sauce is eternal. I’m not giving up hope. I’m just stocking up on frozen chicken fingers and pretending.
