This is where James shows off. They play “Johnny Yen” and “Ring the Bells.” If you know these, you get a gold star in my book.
I swear, half the audience is just nodding along, pretending they knew the lyrics. But the other half—the real fans—are losing their minds. It’s like a secret handshake in song form.
And then? “Laid.” Oh, you know that one. The bass line hits, and suddenly everyone’s trying to dance like they’re not at a James concert. Spoiler: they’re failing. But it’s cute.
The “Love Is The Answer” Part
Okay, the title track. “Love Is The Answer.” It’s the emotional centerpiece of the whole thing. Tim Booth sings it like he’s personally texting your heart.
He pauses mid-song to do that thing where he stares into the crowd. You know the stare. It’s part alien, part guru, all goosebumps.
