So, where does Michael Barrymore live now? Nowhere you can find on a map of celebrity homes. He lives in the quiet space between “remember when” and “what’s for dinner.” He lives in a place where the only audience is the seagull on the fence, and the only catchphrase is “Pass the remote.”
And if you ever see a man in a fleece jacket buying discount sausages at a local supermarket, looking vaguely familiar but not quite placeable, just give him a wink. He’ll know. Because sometimes, the best place to live isn’t a zip code—it’s a state of mind where you finally get to be just another person.
And isn’t that what we all want, really? To find our own little corner of the world where the drama dial is turned all the way down to “meh”? Good for you, Michael. Good for you.
