Apparently, Dillard's has a very strict policy when it comes to employee bags. I mean, who doesn't love a good mystery, right? It's like they're trying to protect their employees from themselves, or maybe they just want to make sure no one is sneaking out with a free TV.
But seriously, the policy is in place to prevent theft and ensure that employees aren't walking out with merchandise that doesn't belong to them. I guess it's like the old saying goes: "you can't trust anyone with a bag" – just kidding, that's not a thing. Anyway, it's probably a good idea, considering the amount of valuable stuff they have lying around.
So, what happens if you get caught with contraband in your bag? Well, let's just say it's not a pretty sight. You might get in big trouble, or worse, have to attend a mandatory bag-checking seminar (just kidding, that's not a thing... or is it?). But in all seriousness, it's probably not worth the risk, unless you're trying to win an award for "most creative excuse".
