The Fall 2026 semester at the University of Pittsburgh officially starts with classes on Monday, August 25, 2026. Mark that in your calendar right now. Yes, it feels early, but trust me—you’ll thank yourself when you’re not scrambling for a parking spot in Oakland.
Move-in for dorms typically happens the weekend before, so expect a chaotic mix of parents, U-Hauls, and that one guy with a ukulele. If you’re off-campus, just prepare for the sudden spike in Chipotle traffic.
