Daryl cheats death like it’s a hobby. He’s been beaten, stabbed, shot at, and nearly eaten by walkers more times than we can count. He’s the cockroach of the apocalypse. And we mean that as the highest compliment.
Remember when he got impaled by a crossbow bolt? He just pulled it out and kept going. Daryl doesn’t need a hospital. He needs a mechanic and a bottle of whiskey.
The “Almost” Deaths We Laughed At
Let’s list a few of his “I’m definitely dead” moments. There was that time he got kidnapped by the Saviors and thrown into a pit of walkers. How did he survive? He just… didn’t die. The show made it look easy.
Then there was the Reapers arc. They ambushed him. He took a knife to the gut. He fell down a cliff. And yet, he showed up the next episode with a bandage and a grumpy look. Daryl doesn’t die. He just gets mildly inconvenienced.
