V's pre-debut life was marked by hard work and dedication. He trained tirelessly in vocal and dance lessons, often for hours on end, to perfect his craft. And, fun fact, V was actually a tae kwon do athlete before pursuing music – who knew he was a martial arts master in the making?
As a teenager, V attended Korea Arts High School, where he honed his skills in music and dance. It was during this time that he was scouted by Big Hit Entertainment, the company behind BTS, and began his journey as a trainee. The rest, as they say, is history!
But, it wasn't all smooth sailing for V. He faced numerous challenges during his trainee days, from language barriers to self-doubt. There were times when he felt like giving up, but his passion and perseverance kept him going. And, let's be real, we're glad he didn't give up, or we wouldn't have the fabulous V we know and love today!
