The NFL chose Brazil as part of its global outreach, because apparently, football (the American kind) is taking over the world. And what better place than a country that loves futebol but is ready for helmets and shoulder pads? Plus, São Paulo has an incredible stadium—the Arena Corinthians—which holds about 49,000 screaming fans. It’s going to be loud, probably humid, and definitely unforgettable.
Weather-wise, September is late winter in Brazil. But “winter” in São Paulo means temperatures in the mid-60s to low 70s Fahrenheit. So basically, it’s perfect football weather as long as you don’t mind a little tropical breeze. In other words, the Chiefs better pack some light jackets and maybe a bottle of mosquito repellent for the sidelines. Just kidding. (Sort of.)
